|  | What is GCash?
GCash enables any Globe or TM subscriber to send and receive money and make payments just through text/ SMS.
GCash is most commonly used by Globe and TM subscribers for:
· Sending and receiving money locally or internationally since GCash is a much faster, cheaper, and more secure alternative to traditional money transfer services- at the Speed of Text, No Membership, Maintenance, Remittance, or Bank Fees!
· Prepaid Reloading due to the convenience of being able to load anytime and anywhere and the 10% REBATE for every transaction.
How do I start using GCash?
In order to star using GCash a Globe/ TM subscriber has to:
1. Register to GCash via text
a. Text:
REGany 4-digit PIN/Mother's Maiden Name/First Name/Last Name/Address
and send to 2882
b. Note that there should be no spaces before and after the slashes (/).
c. Make sure all information provided are true and the subscriber’s name is as reflected on the subscriber’s ID
2. Convert cash into GCash (Cash-in)
a. Via any GCash partner outlet
· Globe Business Centers
· Globelines Payments and Services Centers
· SM Department Stores
· Selected Tambunting Pawnshops
· Selected Villarica Pawnshops
· Partner Rural Banks
· Any many other partners nationwide.
b. Via any partner Bancnet ATM
1) Select other services
2) Fund Transfer
3) Asia United Bank (AUB)/ G-Cash
4) Indicate cellphone number of recipient
5) Indicate amount to be sent
3. Now you can use GCash for the following:
a. To send GCash to other Globe/ TM subscribers just text:
AMOUNTPIN
and send to 2882+the 10 digit number of recipient.
The recipient can then convert GCash into cash (or cash-out) also with the above-mentioned GCash partner outlets. Just Call 2882 for FREE using any Globe/ TM cellphone to find out the nearest GCash partner.
b. To buy Globe/ TM prepaid load just text:
LOADAMOUNTPIN
and send to:
1) 2882 if buying load for your own cellphone
2) 2882+the 10 digit number of recipient if buying load for others
a. To pay bills just text:
BILLPAYAMOUNTPINInstitution CodeAccount Ref #
and send to 2882

Are there any limits to the amount of transactions?
A GCash account can hold a maximum of P40,000 at any given point in time with a P40,000 incoming and P40,000 outgoing maximum transactional daily limit and a P100,000 incoming and outgoing maximum monthly transactional limit. This is in compliance with Bank Sentral ng Pilipinas Policies and the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA).
Minimum amount for person-to-person transfer is P1.00. However, minimum cash-out or cash-in transaction will depend on the GCash partner outlet where you are cashing-in or cashing-out.
For Globe Business Centers, Globelines Payments & Services Centers, SM Department Stores, and various other participating partners there are no minimum cash-in and cash-out amount. Cash-in is FREE and cash-out is 1% of the amount to be withdrawn (minimum P10.00).

How do I convert my GCASH into cash?
To convert GCash into cash (or cash-out) just go to any of the above-mentioned GCash partner outlets.
A subscriber can also call 2882 for FREE using any Globe/ TM cellphone to find out the nearest GCash partner outlet.

What if I lose my phone? Can I still claim my GCash?
The GCash from lost phones is still safe and may still easily be retrieved. Because GCash has a PIN requirement for any transaction, nobody can access the GCash account other than the owner. To claim the GCash from lost phones, a subscriber just has to go to any Globe Business Center or Globelines Payment and Service Center and present a valid ID and answer security questions related to the account in order to transfer the GCash to a new Globe/ TM account or convert the GCash into cash.
A subscriber can also call 2882 for FREE to have the GCash account blocked. It may then be unblocked only at a Globe Business Center or Globelines Payments & Services Center once the subscriber presents a valid ID and answers security questions related to the account.

What if I send GCash to an expired number? Can my beneficiary get the amount? Can I get back the amount?
Please ensure first that the recipient of your GCash is an active number. If the Globe/ TM number you sent GCash to is expired, the recipient (owner of the expired number) will have go to a Globe Business Center or Globelines Payment and Service Center to have the GCash transferred to an active Globe/ TM cellphone or to convert it into cash (cash-out).
